Caption Masters Series II

The original Caption Masters Series (CMS) has helped to train thousands of realtime reporters become skilled broadcast captioners and CART writers.

Caption Masters Series is unique because it does not teach tricks to writing.  Rather, it builds on what you already know and gives you strategies to be successful.  Hear what others have to say:

I want to thank you for the excellent job you've done training captioners.  The Visual Audio Captioning recruiters know that if someone has successfully completed the Caption Master's Program, they will have very good captioning skills plus an understanding of what it takes to be a captioner.  We were thrilled to learn the Caption Master's Program is continuing and look forward to hiring your graduates in the future.

EduCaption does an excellent job training captioners.   The National Captioning Institute regularly employs graduates of the Caption Master's Program because they come well-prepared.  They have outstanding writing skills, and they know what it takes to be a  captioner.  I am pleased to recommend the Caption Master's Program.

Caption Masters is the best training program available for reporters transitioning into the field of broadcast captioning. The program is comprehensive and covers all areas of study needed to begin a career in realtime captioning. I have worked with CM graduates and I found them to be prepared, knowledgeable, and qualified. I highly recommend and endorse the Caption Masters series program. CM is the best training program available anywhere!

Alan Peacock, CSR, RMR, CRR, CBC. Caption IT! Mobile, AL

I attended Caption Masters in September 2003.  Upon completion of the training, I attained my first CART job and found myself totally prepared.  I currently CART for students in my local school district. I caption news, sports and emergency weather. I provide remote CART for individuals around the world, and I travel to provide CART in a convention setting.  Without the foundation of the Caption Masters training, I would not be where I am today and I will be eternally grateful for such a wonderful wealth of information given to me during my training.
